Avi Gold’s Dream Collaboration with Stone Island Marina Comes to Life at Better Gift Shop
For Avi Gold, founder of Toronto-based Better Gift Shop, teaming up with Stone Island Marina has been a long-awaited dream. As a true Stone Island aficionado, Gold sees this collaboration as a “full circle moment” for his boutique.
In their first joint venture, Better Gift Shop and Stone Island Marina have reimagined the iconic Aluminium Tela_Stone Island Marina hooded jacket in Better Gift Shop’s signature “Better Blue” color. This exclusive jacket is only available in-store at Better Gift Shop and is made from 50Ne pure cotton poplin, laminated with an aluminium foil and protected by an additional layer of the same poplin. It is also finished with a special anti-drop agent.
Assisting Gold in this project is Arco Maher, a longtime friend of Better Gift Shop and Stone Island archivist. Maher has curated a special selection of Stone Island products to be displayed at Better Gift Shop.
