Outlandish and HOKA Team Up for Trailish: A New Initiative Bringing NYC Runners to the Trails
Brooklyn-based outdoor gear store Outlandish has joined forces with HOKA to launch Trailish, a partnership aimed at providing New York City’s running community with access to the state’s vast network of running trails. This exciting collaboration builds on Outlandish’s successful Hikeish partnership with Salomon, which focuses on hiking adventures.
Trailish will offer monthly trail runs through the Hudson Valley and greater Tri-State area, giving urban runners the chance to trade in their pavement-pounding routines for off-road adventures. With over 60% forest coverage in New York State, there’s no shortage of beautiful trails to explore. “New York is the greatest city in the world, but access to nature is our Achilles heel,” says Outlandish co-founder Benje Williams. “Hopefully, Trailish can help close the loop.”
Transportation to and from Outlandish’s store in Crown Heights, Brooklyn will be provided for all Trailish runs. Each run will be planned and led by state-licensed guides, with support from drivers and pacers. Participants will also have the opportunity to test out HOKA’s latest trail running footwear, including the Mafate Speed 4, without having to purchase new gear.
The first Trailish run is scheduled for March 9th at Rockefeller State Park. Visit the Trailish homepage for more information and to register for this exciting new initiative. Lace up your running shoes and get ready to hit the trails with Trailish!
