Joshua Vides to Release Automotive-Inspired Capsule Collection
Renowned artist Joshua Vides is back with a new collection that is sure to rev up your wardrobe. Following the success of his recent solo exhibition, Check Engine Light, Vides is set to release a capsule collection inspired by the automotive world.
The exhibition, which was open for five days during Frieze Art Week in LA, featured three cars from iconic brands like Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Honda, all adorned with Vides’ signature illustrative style.
Now, fans can get their hands on collectible items and garments featuring Vides’ 2D pen and paper-style artwork. The collection includes a black Mercedes-Benz hoodie and long-sleeve tee, as well as a black long-sleeve tee for both Porsche and Honda. Other standout items include a skate deck, available in natural wood or Vides’ signature black and white style, a ceramic ashtray shaped like a 911, logo keychains, and a range of caps.
The collection will be available for purchase on Vides’ official website at 9:00 am PST, with pricing details yet to be announced. However, Vides did mention that the first 50 orders will receive a special surprise.
