Uniqlo’s Latest UT Collection Collabs with the Louvre and Doraemon
Uniqlo, the popular Japanese apparel brand, has just announced an exciting new collaboration for its iconic graphic T-shirt range. Following their previous sci-fi anime UT collection, Uniqlo is now partnering with the Louvre to bring beloved Doraemon characters to their latest capsule collection.
Art Meets Anime in Uniqlo’s Newest UT Drop
Set to release in late May, this UT T-shirt collection features four unique graphic designs on black, gray, and white cotton tees. One white shirt showcases Doraemon and Nobita in front of the famous “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci, while another has Doraemon as a sculptor, inspired by “The Winged Victory of Samothrace Hellenistic Art.”
Doraemon Takes Over the Louvre
On the gray T-shirt, Doraemon replaces the subject in Johannes Vermeer’s “The Astronomer,” showing off his mischievous side. The black shirt features a starry depiction of the Louvre at night, with the iconic glass pyramid reflecting the sky’s gradient. And upon closer inspection, Doraemon and Nobita can be spotted in the starlit sky.
