Louis Vuitton Goes Retro with Music-Inspired Accessories for Spring 2025

Since Pharrell Williams joined the luxury fashion brand, Louis Vuitton has been incorporating music motifs into their designs more than ever before. And for their Spring 2025 collection, they are taking a trip down memory lane by bringing back old music technology in the form of stylish accessories.

The French house, known for their ability to turn everyday objects into luxurious must-haves, has delved into the world of music players for their latest release. The new bag accessories feature an iPod-inspired cross-body pochette, reminiscent of LV’s popular Amazone cross body bag. Made of leather, the bag also includes a small window that mimics an iPod screen, displaying a fully charged power bar, a play button, and the text “Louis Vuitton Collection Spring 2025” in place of a song title. The LV monogram is cleverly incorporated into the design, paying homage to the iPod’s iconic scroll wheel. The timestamp on the purse reads “18:54,” a nod to LV’s founding year, and the zipper handles are in the shape of two gold headphones tied together.

But the music-inspired accessories don’t stop there. Louis Vuitton has also released a wearable wallet in the shape of a cassette player, complete with pause/play buttons and fast forward/rewind ones embossed on the top. For those looking for a more compact option, a cassette tape card holder is also available, featuring graphics that resemble a real cassette tape with “Side A” and “Side B” labels. The inside of the card holder features a headphone graphic with the LV logo for added detailing.

These retro accessories are set to hit stores on March 13, so mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, check out the sneak peek of these music-inspired pieces on Louis Vuitton’s Instagram page.
