MARKET and Sherwood Hockey Team Up for Second Collaborative Capsule
The sports world has always been a prime target for MARKET, and now the brand is back at it again with another collaboration. This time, they’ve joined forces with Canadian hockey brand Sherwood Hockey to bring fans a second collection of graphic apparel, accessories, and hockey gear.
A Natural Fit for MARKET and Sherwood Hockey
It’s no surprise that this collaboration is a perfect match, as MARKET’s own Mike Cherman has a personal connection to the sport. Growing up playing hockey, Cherman has always had a love for the game and its physicality. In a statement, he expressed his excitement for the collection, saying, “Through this collection, we brought out our iconic bear in each nation’s colors and reimagined each country as a character mascot.”
What to Expect from the Collection
The new MARKET x Sherwood Hockey range builds upon the success of their initial 2024 collaboration. This time around, fans can expect three graphic t-shirt styles, two hoodies, and a dad cap on the apparel front. On the hockey gear side, there will be a Canadian-made custom Sherwood hockey stick and puck.
Bringing a New Flavor to the Sport
According to Brendon Arnold, Sherwood’s AVP, this collaboration is all about showcasing the unique position that Sherwood holds within the game of hockey. To do so, they’ve enlisted the help of Sherwood Hockey athlete and Toronto Maple Leafs star William Nylander to star in the lookbook. Arnold explains, “Leveraging international hockey as the platform, we wanted to bring a different flavor to the sport with our friends at MARKET by creating a unique collection that showcases the lighter side of hockey between the countries.”
