Engineered Garments Takes on the Hustle and Bustle of NYC for Fall/Winter 2025 Collection

The concrete jungle of New York City has long been a source of inspiration for fashion designers, and for Fall/Winter 2025, Engineered Garments is no exception. The brand’s latest collection draws on the chaotic energy of the city, capturing its essence through a range of signature pieces that reflect the daily grind of its citizens.

From newsboy vests to oversized trenches, the lookbook showcases the iconic imagery of city life. Large black umbrellas adorned with music notes, suited individuals with newspapers in hand, and other familiar scenes are all represented, creating a printed tapestry of the metropolitan identity.

As with all of Daiki Suzuki’s designs, prints are a key element in this collection. Stripes, checkered knits, tie-dyes, and patchwork prints are all featured, serving as versatile staples for the diverse inhabitants of the city. Whether you’re a downtown creative or a corporate citizen, there’s something for everyone in this collection.

For the creative types, beige corduroy overalls are paired with a matching newsboy cap and topped off with an oversized beige and black printed jacket. A grey-blue quarter-snap pullover is layered with a navy velveteen bomber jacket and pants featuring a bold patchwork motif.

Meanwhile, the corporate citizens can rock striped suits over hooded technical jackets, or opt for a full monotone herringbone suit with a playful matching bucket hat. And for both groups, a tie-dye cargo vest adds a touch of urban flair when layered over a grey overcoat and suit pants.

Be sure to check out the full Fall/Winter 2025 collection in the gallery above, and keep an eye out for its release on the brand’s webstore, Nepenthes, and select retailers in the coming weeks. This collection is not one to be missed for anyone looking to add a touch of New York City style to their wardrobe.
