In the midst of a fiery Twitter tirade from Ye, the rapper took to Instagram to drop a major announcement: YEEZY and Sean John have joined forces to release a line of collaborative T-shirts. The collection, which is now available on YEEZY’s website, features five different options in gray, black, blue, white, and red, all adorned with the iconic Sean John logo. And in true Ye fashion, he made sure to mention that he and Diddy are splitting the profits 50/50, just as they had discussed before Diddy’s recent incarceration on federal sex trafficking charges.

This exciting partnership comes on the heels of West’s highly-anticipated release of his first YZY womenswear piece, the BD-01 bodysuit, which is said to be inspired by his wife, Bianca Censori. It’s also a major moment for Sean John, which has been relatively quiet since Macy’s ended its exclusive distribution deal with the brand in 2023 due to sexual assault allegations against Combs. However, the label has a rich history, with Combs founding it in 1998, selling a majority stake in 2016, and then buying it back for $7.5 million USD after the company went bankrupt in 2021.

During its prime, Sean John was a major player in the fashion industry, receiving CFDA Award nominations every year from 2000 to 2005 and winning the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year award in 2004. Now, with this exciting collaboration with YEEZY, the brand is back in the spotlight and ready to make a statement. Don’t miss out on this must-have collection, available now on YEEZY’s website.
