Reese Cooper Unveils “En Plein Air” Collection for Fall/Winter 2025
After the successful launch of his second capsule collection for Outdoor Supply, designer Reese Cooper is back with his flagship label’s highly anticipated Fall/Winter 2025 collection. Titled “En Plein Air” (French for “In the Open Air”), the collection is a study in contrast, combining different silhouettes, materials, and garments with their surroundings.
Cooper took to Instagram to share his inspiration for the collection, stating, “In short, a study in juxtaposition between silhouette, material & garment and its context.” The pieces in the collection reflect this concept, with oversized military shapes made from woven houndstooth, trench coats and tailored trousers crafted from three-layer waterproof nylon, and double-breasted wool blazers featuring adjustable bunjee cords commonly found in tactical gear.
The collection also includes quarter-zip hoodies with asymmetrical zippers, denim sets with spacious storage pockets, and fleece jackets equipped with utility belts across the chest. As always, Cooper personally shot the lookbook, taking his model on an eight-hour round trip drive to the exact spot that inspired the collection late last year.
With a color and textural palette inspired by the great outdoors, Cooper’s collection is a true reflection of his love for nature. Each piece is designed with the necessary equipment to fully enjoy the outdoors. Check out the Fall/Winter 2025 collection in the gallery above.
