Berlin Designer Danny Reinke’s Fall 2025 Collection: A Perfect Blend of Innocence and Rebellion

German fashion designer Danny Reinke has once again captured the attention of the fashion world with his latest collection for Fall 2025. Titled “90 Seconds To Midnight,” the collection is a powerful mix of historical influence, dark symbolism, and rebellious design.

Reinke drew inspiration from two contrasting sources: Heinrich Hoffmann’s Struwwelpeter, a popular German children’s book known for its cautionary tales, and the Doomsday Clock, a scientific metaphor representing humanity’s proximity to self-destruction.

The collection, which Reinke describes as “equal parts innocent and infernal,” features elements from the Biedermeier period, a 19th-century era that emphasized simplicity and functionality in Central European art and culture. But don’t be fooled by the middle-class values, as the collection also exudes a sense of anarchy with its menacing color palette, rough textures, and punkish holes.

One of the standout motifs in the collection is a scissor design, which can be seen as a print on formal blazers and dress pants, a furry brooch on collared tops, and a sharp clutch for the label’s edgier clientele. Reinke also collaborated with textile innovator Hannah Kaplan to create unruly coats using scraps from the collection’s creation.

But amidst the darkness, there are also moments of playfulness and practicality. The eveningwear ensembles feature blinding Swarovski crystals arranged like a calm night sky, while the statement daywear pieces are adorned with bright floral prints. These elements are a nod to Reinke’s favorite childhood stories, which were a part of his moodboard for the collection.
