Templa Teams Up with AF+D and AAG to Release Revolutionary Biodegradable Puffer Jacket

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Templa has joined forces with ALLIED Feather + Down (AF+D) and Active Apparel Group (AAG) to launch a game-changing puffer jacket that promotes circularity through its completely biodegradable components.

The Hyperion jacket, set to be released in September 2025 as part of Templa’s FW25 – Edition 12 Collection, is made with 800-fill power-down insulation and synthetic fabrics and trims that are all biodegradable. The down used in the jacket is sourced from AF+D, while AAG provides the biodegradable fabrics and trims in “stone,” “blush,” and “black” colorways.

According to Templa, the Hyperion jacket is “designed to disappear” within approximately 5 years, thanks to third-party certifications from Amni Soul Eco® by Solvay and CiCLO® that confirm the biodegradability of all materials used.

The innovative design of the Hyperion jacket has already received recognition, winning a 2024 ISPO Award for its contribution to sustainable sports gear. Templa Founding Partner Anati Rakocz expressed their excitement about the project, stating, “For us, this is more than just a stylish jacket or new technology; it’s about making responsible choices for meaningful change. We’re grateful that our efforts, alongside AAG and AF+D, have been acknowledged by industry leaders, reinforcing our belief in the power of collaboration for the greater good.”

Stay tuned for the release of the Hyperion jacket in September 2025, and join Templa in their mission to make a positive impact on the fashion industry through sustainable and responsible choices.
