Sacai and WTAPS Team Up for New Collaborative Capsule Collection

After a successful runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week, Chitose Abe’s Sacai has announced a new collaboration with Tetsu Nishiyama’s WTAPS. This marks their first collaboration since their 2023 capsule and the new pieces continue to explore military themes with a stylish twist.

For men, the collection features a gray double-breasted two-piece suit with Sacai’s signature reworked details, while WTAPS’ tactical influence can be seen through patch pockets on the jacket and trousers. The women’s pieces also incorporate WTAPS’ visual language, with a cropped work jacket and shorts adorned with cargo pockets. The collection will also include limited khaki colorways in addition to the gray options shown in the images.

The collaboration consists of five men’s and five women’s pieces that combine elements from both brands, along with unisex hoodies, t-shirts, and co-branded caps. Each piece will also feature a special detail from WTAPS’ MIL line. This collection is a more complex evolution from their previous collaboration, which focused on an army green bomber shirt and trousers. The new two-piece suit embodies the fusion of office attire and “corpcore,” showcasing the unique styles of both brands.

The highly anticipated collection will be available online and in-store on February 7. Don’t miss your chance to snag a piece from this exciting collaboration between Sacai and WTAPS.
