Rick Owens and RIMOWA Team Up for Limited-Edition Cabin Roller
After a tantalizing preview at Rick Owens’ FW25 Paris presentation, the highly-anticipated collaboration between the designer and luxury luggage brand RIMOWA has finally been revealed. The official images of the RIMOWA x Rick Owens Cabin roller showcase a unique patinated finish, embodying Owens’ gritty industrial aesthetic.
The limited-edition collection features only 500 numbered pieces, each with a one-of-a-kind patina achieved through a meticulous manual pigment application. As the suitcase is used, the finish will continue to deepen, giving each piece its own distinct character. Staying true to Owens’ signature material palette, the interior of the suitcase is lined with luxurious leather (a first for RIMOWA) and comes with a hair-on cowskin tag.
But the collaboration doesn’t stop at the exterior. The interior also boasts custom nylon webbing embossed with a special RIMOWA x Rick Owens logo on the leather tabs. Made in Germany at RIMOWA’s factory, the collaborative roller will retail for $3525 USD.
