In an exclusive interview with Hypebeast Magazine, designer Jiyong Kim revealed his inspiration for sun-bleaching, a technique that sets his label apart from others. He stumbled upon it while browsing through fabric markets in Seoul, where he found a trench coat that had been left in the sun for months. “No one else thought these pieces were beautiful, and they’d just throw them away. But I liked the imperfections and didn’t want to see them fixed,” he explained.
The Fall/Winter 2025 collection showcases a range of garments in various washes, each with its own unique texture and effect. As Kim shared in the interview, the movement of the fabric during the sun-bleaching process creates a layered and contrasting look.
