Champion Europe Returns to Pitti Uomo with a Bold and Expressive Exhibition

Under the creative direction of Maurizio Donaldi, Champion Europe is making a triumphant return to Pitti Uomo. Titled “Champion: A Portrait,” the exhibition showcases the brand’s first presentation at the event since 2018.

A Snapshot of Culture and Change

According to Champion Europe, a portrait is more than just a single image. It is a distillation of a person’s complexities and contradictions, capturing their past, present, and future all at once. But it is also a canvas for projection, representing the culture, community, and change that we all embody.

A Display of Iconic and Innovative Pieces

The exhibition features a mix of classic and contemporary pieces, including zip-up sweatshirts, hoodies, and collegiate crewnecks, as well as tailored jackets and dresses constructed with Champion’s signature “REVERSE WEAVE” technique. The brand’s new European collection, “BLCK (Nowhere University),” is also on display, showcasing edgy distressed designs.

Custom Artwork Elevates the Collection

Print and textile designer CJ Pidlaoan was on-site, adding a unique touch to the garments with hand-painted artwork. This collaboration adds an extra layer of creativity and expression to the already bold and dynamic collection.
