Versatility and Functionality Take Center Stage in AURALEE’s Fall/Winter 2025 Collection
Japanese label AURALEE has once again proven their mastery of versatility and functionality with their latest Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The brand kicked off Paris Fashion Week with a bang, showcasing an expansive collection that reimagines everyday looks with an elevated twist.
Refined yet simple, AURALEE brings Japanese minimalism to the forefront by pairing classically tailored ensembles with sleek and compact outerwear. Designer Ryota Iwai draws inspiration from the idea of exuding self-confidence and unapologetic authenticity by effortlessly transitioning from a suit one day to a regular t-shirt the next. This concept is reflected in the collection, which blends vintage elements with a touch of nostalgia.
At first glance, the collection may seem simple and clean, but upon closer inspection, Iwai’s latest season offers pieces that can easily transition between a busy urban lifestyle and leisurely moments. Striking the perfect balance between functionality and allure, standout pieces include bomber leather jackets worn under double-breasted cashmere coats for a sophisticated look.
Staying true to the brand’s minimalist ethos, the fabrics used in the collection are crafted from luxurious materials such as cashmere moleskin and merino mouton fur. For a vintage touch, lamb leather finishes add a touch of luxury to otherwise typical wardrobe pieces. Knitwear in various iterations can also be seen throughout the collection, from knit cardigans to pull-over sweaters.
AURALEE’s collaboration with New Balance continues in this collection, with two pairs of T500s in “Brown” and “Lime Green” making a subtle yet stylish addition to the pieces. The perfect blend of form and function, AURALEE’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection is a must-have for anyone looking to effortlessly elevate their wardrobe.
