FACETASM’s “Kind Shelter” Collection: A Refuge of Positivity and Comfort
Japanese fashion label FACETASM has always been inspired by the goodness of humanity, using themes like “RADIANCE” and “Do What You Love” to shed light on the positivity and hope that often goes unnoticed. And for their Fall/Winter 2025 collection, the brand stays true to this formula with their latest range, “Kind Shelter,” drawing design inspiration from the LOG boutique hotel in Onomichi, Japan.
The LOG hotel, designed by Studio Mumbai under the direction of architect Bijoy Jain, is built on the mantra of “Be Kind,” a sentiment that aligns perfectly with FACETASM’s approach to fashion design.
Inspired by the ethereal LOG, FACETASM’s “Kind Shelter” collection offers a place of refuge, featuring new layering techniques and oversized silhouettes. The collection prioritizes comfort, with a mix of textures and fabrics in earthy tones of brown and mellow blue, contrasted with bold pops of yellow and red in outerwear and knits.
The collection continues to create its own “Kind Shelter” with fluidity and ease, with down coats and knitwear in spacious silhouettes and loosely tailored trousers. Subtle adjustable features, such as snap closures, tactical pockets, and hidden zippers, elevate the pieces for effortless wear.
