Sandy Liang and Salomon Team Up for Third Collaboration: Introducing the XT-Whisper
Get ready for Fashion Month with the latest collaboration from Sandy Liang and Salomon. The dynamic duo is back at it again, this time reimagining Salomon’s XT-Whisper silhouette. The highly anticipated release will be available for purchase on January 16 on Sandy Liang’s website and January 23 on Salomon’s website.
In a press release, Liang expressed her excitement for the project, stating, “The XT-Whisper is one of my favorite silhouettes from Salomon’s archives, and I loved the challenge of reimagining it through a fresh, modern lens. This collaborative design reflects my love for outdoor adventures paired with the practicality and ease of my everyday city life.”
The revamped XT-Whisper features Liang’s signature pastel palette, with an all-over soft pink, fairy tale hue. The sleek design is elevated with hits of silver, while still maintaining the technical attributes that make the Whisper stand out, such as the wavy Sensifit ™ application and Quicklace lacing system.
The XT-Whisper was recently revived from Salomon’s archives in December, coinciding with the opening of their New York City storefront. This marks the third collaboration between Sandy and Salomon, with their previous projects including the XT-6 Expanse and RX Moc 3.0 in 2023, and the Speedcross 3 Ribbon and RX MJ Sandy Liang in July of this year.
