As the Lunar New Year approaches, Carhartt is getting in on the celebration with a special capsule drop inspired by this year’s zodiac animal: the snake. The Japan-exclusive collection, aptly named the “Year of the Snake Pack,” features a hooded pullover sweater and shorts, both adorned with an all-over boa snake-inspired pattern in a sleek monochrome color palette.
Priced at ¥25,300 JPY (approximately $161 USD), the standout piece of the collection is the hoodie, which boasts a snake print from the hood all the way down to the sleeves. The front is adorned with an embroidered Carhartt logo, while the drawcord, cuffs, and hem in off-white provide a stylish contrast to the hoodie.
The shorts follow suit with a symmetrical, all-over snake print and an off-white waistband. Retailing at ¥17,600 JPY (approximately $112 USD), the back of the shorts also features a small pocket with a slightly different print. The “Year of the Snake Pack” is now available to shop on Carhartt’s online store and select retail locations in Japan.
