Stone Island Drops New Mussola Gommata Coats for Spring/Summer 2025
After releasing its Year of the Snake collection last week, Stone Island is back with a bang for Spring/Summer 2025. The Italian outerwear label is shining the spotlight on its latest hero pieces: two coats crafted from Mussola Gommata, the brand’s signature fabric that combines cotton muslin with a polyurethane film. And who better to showcase these exclusive pieces than pro basketball player Jalen Green and artist Giggs, in a campaign that oozes coolness and style.
Green rocks the 4100062_MUSSOLA GOMMATA-TC, a hooded jacket with a flat cotton tape contour drawstring and a Velcro pad for added support. The jacket features a patch pocket on the chest with a top flap and hidden snap fastening, as well as angular side pockets with zip closures. The cuffs are adjustable with straps, and the iconic Stone Island badge is proudly displayed on the left sleeve.
Giggs, on the other hand, dons the 4100016_ MUSSOLA GOMMATA-TC, a stand-collar coat with double hand pockets featuring top flap entrances and snap fastenings. There’s also a second pocket with a standing entrance, and the Stone Island emblem is placed in its usual spot. Both coats are designed to withstand water and wind, thanks to their unique construction. And to top it off, the brand’s signature double garment-dyeing process gives each piece a rich and vibrant color.
