DIGAWEL’s SS25 Collection: A Fusion of Work and Life
Japanese label DIGAWEL is back with its latest collection, SS25, and it’s all about the “officeware” concept. This unique concept was first introduced in 2018 and explores the delicate balance between work and life through design.
In today’s world, where working styles like WFH (work from home) and gig work are becoming increasingly popular, the line between work and life has become more fluid. And DIGAWEL is embracing this shift with its latest collection, seamlessly blending different styles from various modes of labor and lifestyle.
The collection features a mix of office-appropriate neckties, utilitarian workwear, and easy casual styles, creating everyday looks that effortlessly transition from laid-back to dressed-up. One standout look features a fully buttoned blue Oxford shirt paired with plaid boxer shorts and black loafers, showcasing the brand’s playful take on combining different elements.
Other looks in the collection include baggy double-knee carpenter shorts paired with a white shirt, black necktie, and navy chore coat, blurring the lines between white and blue collar fashion. However, despite the fusion of different styles, the collection maintains a sense of casual wearability and refined cohesion.
For those who prefer a more relaxed look, the collection also offers everyday essentials like an oversized grey t-shirt paired with baggy jeans, or an all-black ensemble featuring an oversized tee and high-waisted pleated trousers.
But it’s not all about casual wear – the collection also features rugged workwear garments like a gray boiler suit with multiple pockets and diagonal zippers, as well as chore coats and denim overalls.
Fans of DIGAWEL can expect the SS25 collection to drop in mid-January, available on the brand’s web store and Tokyo boutique. Get ready to elevate your work and life wardrobe with this unique and versatile collection.
