Get Ready for the adidas AE1 Low in “Stormtrooper” Colorway
Introducing the latest addition to the adidas family: the AE1 Low in a sleek and stylish “Stormtrooper” colorway. This highly anticipated release is set to hit stores on February 1, 2025, just in time for a fresh start to the new year.
Designed in collaboration with basketball star Anthony Edwards, this signature shoe takes inspiration from the iconic adidas Crazy 1 “Stormtrooper” from the early 2000s. The result is a modern and subtle take on the classic design.
The upper half of the shoe features a black textile material, while the lower half boasts a titanium white color. The sculptural shape of the shoe is accentuated by the contrasting colors, giving it a futuristic and edgy look.
The white midsole seamlessly blends with the perforated uppers, reminiscent of the white armor worn by Storm Troopers in the Star Wars franchise. Red details on the adidas emblem and the soles add a pop of color to the otherwise neutral palette.
But the standout feature of this shoe has to be the small reflective element on the top of the toe box. Under direct light, it illuminates and adds a futuristic touch to the overall design.
The “Stormtrooper” colorway follows the recent release of the AE1 in “Metallic Grey,” which also featured a minimalist and neutral color scheme. The adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low in “Stormtrooper” will be available for purchase on February 1, 2025 on the adidas website and select retailers.
