Concept Kicks: The Latest Collaboration with adidas is Here!

Founder Daniel “Mr. Bailey” Bailey, known for his sculptural and conceptual designs, has once again teamed up with adidas for a new sneaker release. This time, the focus is on subtlety and wearability, with a sleek reinterpretation of a silhouette from the Adizero line.

The collaboration features a striking ombre effect, blending seamlessly with a greyscale color scheme that runs from the toebox to the heel. Even the iconic Three Stripe graphic on the midfoot has been given a subtle twist, with each stripe gradually getting darker.

Suede overlays and a CONCEPT(K) logo on the tongue add the finishing touches to this must-have sneaker. While the name of the silhouette is still a mystery, it appears to have a similar shape to the popular Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72.

In a 2021 interview with Hypebeast, Mr. Bailey shared his passion for constantly pushing the boundaries and incorporating new materials and construction processes into his designs. He also mentioned the friendly competition and inspiration he gets from those around him.

Fans can expect the new CONCEPT(K) x adidas release to hit shelves in 2025, with a potential drop at Paris Fashion Week. Keep an eye out for more updates on this highly anticipated collaboration.
