Anarchic Adjustment: The London Skateboarder’s Streetwear Staple Goes Global with NEIGHBORHOOD Collaboration

London’s skateboarding and streetwear scene has long been dominated by the rebellious and edgy label, Anarchic Adjustment. But now, the brand’s founder Nick Philip is taking his countercultural aesthetic beyond the UK with a groundbreaking collaboration with NEIGHBORHOOD, led by Shinsuke Takizawa.

The debut collection from this dynamic duo is a graphic-heavy capsule that packs a punch. Featuring a hoodie, long-sleeved and short-sleeved t-shirts, the range is a bold display of their combined talents. The color palette is a mix of red, blue, black, and white, adding to the rebellious vibe of the collection.

The main focus of the collaboration is to establish a unique language that combines the iconic styles of both NEIGHBORHOOD and Anarchic Adjustment. This is achieved through the use of co-branded graphics and logos on each garment. The oversized Anarchic Adjustment insignia takes center stage on the hoodies, with NEIGHBORHOOD’s name etched underneath. The left sleeve features the powerful message, “The primary goal of Anarchism is the greatest amount of freedom for all.”

The long-sleeved t-shirts pay homage to the 60-year anniversary of the creation of the Circle A symbol, which has become synonymous with anarchy. The words “NEIGHBORHOOD and Anarchic Adjustment celebrate the 60-year anniversary of the creation of Circle A in 1964, the universal symbol for anarchy” are boldly printed on the front.
