JW Anderson Releases Special Merch Line Inspired by Luca Guadagnino’s Queer Film
Jonathan Anderson, the creative mastermind behind JW Anderson, has once again lent his design vision to a highly anticipated project. This time, it’s a special line of merchandise inspired by Luca Guadagnino’s newly released film, Queer.
As the selected costume designer for both Queer and Challengers, Anderson was the perfect choice to create a merch line that captures the essence of the film. The collection features bold-colored graphic tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, and accessories adorned with Guadagnino’s signature handwritten movie graphics and imagery.
Stand out pieces include high saturation jersey crewnecks in kelly green, tangerine orange, and hot pink, each emblazoned with the text “Queer, Directed by Luca Guadagnino.” A blue crewneck showcases a still of stars Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey on the beach, while a heather grey hoodie features the iconic quote “I want to talk to you… without speaking” from the movie.
For those who haven’t seen the film, there’s a subtle reference in the short-sleeve grey tee with a trompe l’oeil centipede charm. According to JW Anderson, this charm is a symbol of transformation in the film.
To complete the collection, the BFC’s Designer of the Year winner offers off-white “Queer” canvas tote bags and embroidered caps in navy and khaki. The full JW Anderson x Queer Collection is available for pre-order now on the brand’s web store and is set to ship by December 22.
Don’t miss your chance to snag a piece of this limited edition collection and show your love for both JW Anderson and Queer.
