One of the new brands featured on HBX is SAN SAN GEAR from South Korea. Founded in 2019 by Sang-yeop Lee, this brand has quickly gained international recognition for its functional and stylish garments designed for exploration. With a focus on technical design, SAN SAN GEAR has become a favorite among gorpcore enthusiasts. For Fall/Winter 2024, the brand has introduced a mix of new and returning silhouettes, featuring dynamic linework and slick paneling. The Fleece Jacket, for example, not only provides warmth but also stands out with its unique corduroy detailing. The brand’s versatile pants are also a highlight, with the Double Knee Dart Pant offering precise adjustments for a distinct silhouette and the Covering Pocket Pants V2 incorporating paneling for a new color blocking effect.
