Thom Browne’s Holiday 2024 Collection: A Whimsical Winter Wonderland
It’s almost that time of year again, and Thom Browne is already in the festive spirit. The iconic American designer has unveiled his Holiday 2024 collection in a whimsical campaign that takes us on a jingle-bell-rocking ride through an imaginary version of the brand’s office, aboard the “Thom Browne Elevator Express”.
Browne’s label is known for its playful use of language (his collection notes always read like lyrical verses filled with hidden meanings), so it’s no surprise that the brand has presented a poem to accompany the stocking-stuffing collection’s campaign:
“Oh, what a magical sight…in the office tonight…up, up, and up we go…exploring floor-by-floor…will we find a new surprise…behind each elevator door…”
And behind those elevator doors, you’ll find heaps of Browne’s holiday signatures, including his love for animals. Leather bag charms are crafted in the likeness of the designer’s dachshund, Hector; baguette bags are shaped like bunnies and modeled alongside them; and tie bars are cut to resemble whales, dogs, pigs, and yes, even more bunnies.
But that’s not all – the collection also features intarsia and Fair Isle Christmas sweaters, soft camel trench coats, bell-sleeve shearling jackets, and accessories like gloves, scarves, and hats made from ribbed cashmere. And for those who prefer a fancy hot beverage by the fireplace during the holidays, Browne has collaborated with the storied porcelain house Haviland to create a four-bar “Tea Time” set.
