Tom Sachs and Nike Reunite for Highly Anticipated Mars Yard 3.0 Sneaker Release in 2025

Renowned artist Tom Sachs has been making headlines since his partnership with Nike was suspended last year due to reports of inappropriate behavior in his studio. This put a halt on many of the duo’s upcoming footwear plans, including the highly anticipated release of the new Mars Yard 3.0 sneaker. However, after Sachs demonstrated a commitment to fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity, Nike has announced that they will be teaming up with him once again to introduce the Mars Yard 3.0 in 2025.

First Look: Wear-Test Sample of Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 3.0

Although we still have a few years to go until the official release, a sneak peek at a wear-test sample of the sequel has surfaced. The shoe features the classic all-black finish that wear-tests are known for, but without any branding elements. While much of the design remains the same as the 2017 Mars Yard 2.0, there are a few notable adjustments based on this single-image preview. The toe cap has been raised and reinforced, and the lacing system no longer has the lowermost level seen on its predecessor.

In the meantime, stay tuned for updates as Tom Sachs and Nike work together to bring the Mars Yard 3.0 to the public in 2025.
