Update: Nicole McLaughlin x PUMA Suede Unveiled on Instagram

Nicole McLaughlin, the Queen of Mocs, has struck again with her latest collaboration with PUMA. After teasing a Nicole McLaughlin-designed PUMA Suede back in January, the designer has taken to her Instagram for an “official” unveiling of the highly anticipated shoe.

Dubbed the “Sweep the Factory Floor,” the Nicole McLaughlin x PUMA Suede features a unique patchwork-style multicolor upper with bold stitching and a detachable tongue pouch.

McLaughlin’s Instagram post showcases three different pairs, each with its own distinct patchwork colorblocking. This, along with the shoe’s name and McLaughlin’s reputation for upcycling and using surplus materials, suggests that each pair will have a one-of-a-kind construction and may even be made from excess fabric to reduce its environmental impact.

Release date and pricing information still to come

While no official release date or pricing information has been announced yet, fans can expect more details to surface soon.

Nicole McLaughlin x PUMA Suede: A Fresh Take on a Classic Silhouette

Nicole McLaughlin, known for her viral DIY designs, has once again teamed up with PUMA to put a unique spin on the brand’s iconic Suede silhouette. This collaboration follows their previous partnership, which featured upcycled designs using PUMA samples and deadstock materials.

Eye-catching patchwork design and functional details

The Nicole McLaughlin x PUMA Suede boasts a patchwork upper with a mix of vibrant colors, including the signature Formstrip. The lace cover also features a pouch, a nod to McLaughlin’s knack for adding utility to her designs. The shoe is finished off with classic PUMA branding on the tongue and lateral, as well as a white stitched sole unit.

Release details to be announced

At this time, no release information has been revealed by either party. However, fans can expect a full visual breakdown of the sneaker in the coming months, with a release expected later this year at PUMA and select retailers. Stay tuned for updates on this highly anticipated collaboration.
