Thom Yorke and Jun Takahashi Reunite for UNDERCOVER Collaboration

Thom Yorke, the frontman of iconic English rock band Radiohead and the mastermind behind The Smile, has teamed up with UNDERCOVER founder and creative director Jun Takahashi for an exciting new collaboration. The two have been friends for years, and their latest project is a testament to their strong bond.

Yorke Debuts Acoustic Version of “Creep” at UNDERCOVER’s Tokyo Fashion Week Show

In March 2021, Yorke surprised fans by debuting an acoustic version of Radiohead’s debut single “Creep” at UNDERCOVER’s Tokyo Fashion Week runway for Fall 2021. The fashion label’s collection, aptly named “Creep Very,” perfectly complemented the stripped-down vibe of the remixed song.

From Friendship to Professional Collaboration

Yorke and Takahashi’s friendship has now evolved into a professional collaboration, with Yorke suggesting the idea of creating a ready-to-wear collection featuring his personal sketches and poems. Takahashi carefully selected the best works to be turned into graphic T-shirts and sweatshirts, resulting in a unique and highly anticipated collection.

“Thom Yorke University” T-Shirts and More

The collection, set to release on November 15, includes “Thom Yorke University” T-shirts, portraits of Yorke by Michael Avedon adorned with illustrative eyes, and poetry-adorned “Pain & Confusion” tops. Prices will range from ¥16,500 JPY ($108 USD) to ¥27,500 JPY ($181 USD).

Exclusive Items Available at UNDERCOVER Stores and Tour Venues

Fans will also have the chance to purchase limited edition items, such as 12-inch “Don’t Get Me Started” singles and a special Thom Yorke zine, exclusively at UNDERCOVER stores. A “Live at Electric Lady” 12-inch will also be available at tour venues. Don’t miss out on this exciting collaboration between two creative powerhouses.
