Carhartt WIP’s Fall/Winter 2024 Collection: A Nostalgic Nod to the Past with a Contemporary Twist

Carhartt WIP has done it again with their latest Fall/Winter 2024 presentation. This time, the brand has drawn inspiration from a variety of sources, resulting in a diverse and unique collection. The first drop featured a collegiate vibe, while the second embraced the natural beauty of autumn. But the third and final release is a whole new ballgame.

For this last drop, Carhartt has delved into their archives, bringing back elements of their past to create a modern and innovative workwear-meets-streetwear collection. The brand’s signature design aesthetic is evident in their outerwear, which has been elevated with sleek and refined details. Think corduroy collars, gusset pocketing, and convertible hoods.

Photographer Andrew White captures the essence of the collection in a series of rugged 1990s-inspired film stills. Standout pieces include the stone-dyed Stanton Jacket, with its classic blouson shape, and the padded Toronto Jacket, which boasts a utilitarian silhouette and ripstop construction with a camouflage lining. The color palette of this drop stays true to the earthy tones introduced in the first collection, with shades of “tarragon” green and “Malbec” wine taking center stage.

But that’s not all – the collection also features garment-dyed jersey pieces that exude a vintage vibe. These pieces have been washed and faded to perfection, adding to their retro charm. Don’t miss your chance to snag these must-have pieces from Carhartt’s official webstore before they’re gone for good.
