NEEDLES and Sasquatchfabrix Reunite for FW24 Collection Celebrating Japanese Roots
Two iconic Japanese brands, NEEDLES and Sasquatchfabrix, have joined forces once again to create a new collection for FW24. The “Eastend Dragon” collection pays homage to the brands’ shared Japanese heritage, with a focus on the traditional intertwining dragon motif known as “kanai.”
Unique Materials and Rich Hues
Sasquatchfabrix’s expertise in using unique materials is on full display in this collection, with richly hued velour fabrics featuring traditional Japanese-style patterns. These fabrics are used in NEEDLES’ signature matching tracksuit sets, available in navy blue and burgundy red, and finished with bold purple zippers and logos.
Stylish Accessories
The collection also includes matching bucket hats in the same fabric, as well as solid-colored hats with embroidered co-branding. These accessories add a stylish touch to any outfit.
Expressive Designs
For a more expressive look, the collection features black dragon graphics overlaid with polka dots on utility shirts with symmetrical cargo pockets. The distressed crewneck sweatshirts, available in heather grey, green, and washed black, feature hand-drawn-style calligraphy and illustrations of interlocking dragons in the shape of a heart.
Traditional Meets Modern
The collection’s lookbook showcases the pieces in a traditional Japanese interior, with models striking martial arts poses. Accompanied by action-packed videos, the campaign captures the fusion of traditional and modern elements in the collection.
