Sporty & Rich Teams Up with adidas Originals for New SL72 Sneakers
Get ready sneakerheads, because Sporty & Rich has just unveiled two new collaborative adidas Originals SL72 colorways. The highly-anticipated release features the “Mint Rush/Power Purple/Cream White” and “Light Yellow/Real Blue/Footwear White” styles, both set to drop in November 2024.
Founder Emily Oberg, known for her half-Swedish roots, first introduced the Sweden-inspired SL72 sneaker earlier this year. Now, fans can finally get a closer look at the vibrant blue and yellow design, as well as the brand new “Mint Rush” iteration.
Both sneakers boast a sleek leather upper and synthetic lining for a lightweight and comfortable fit. The EVA midsole provides extra cushioning, making these kicks perfect for all-day wear. And of course, the iconic three stripes are adorned with a white Sporty & Rich logo.
This isn’t the first time Sporty & Rich and adidas Originals have joined forces. The two previously collaborated on a collection for the Olympics, featuring three dual-minded adidas sneakers. However, this marks the first time the New York-based label has worked on the archival SL72 silhouette.
