Lewis Hamilton Keeps the Dior Partnership Revving Up
The Formula 1 driver is taking his collaboration with Dior to new heights, drawing from his African heritage to create a bold and dynamic collection of outerwear perfect for both the slopes and the streets.
As his role as guest designer and global ambassador for the fashion house continues, Hamilton is infusing his own personal style into Dior’s signature all-weather looks. In the latest drop, he and designer Kim Jones prioritize performance and elegance, elevating Japanese technical skiwear to new levels.
“Our values and ideas are perfectly aligned, making it easy to create a collection that reflects our shared experiences,” Hamilton stated. The collection features a range of jacket styles, including puffers, overshirts, and sophisticated suiting, all with loose-fitting silhouettes and shapes. Tweed ensembles stand out among wide-legged denim and knitwear pieces, while sweatshirts and fleeces are made from recycled materials.
“I’ve been so inspired by the opportunity to merge my African roots with Dior’s belief in natural materials and vibrant colors,” Hamilton shared. The result is a collection that pushes boundaries and makes conscious choices, while staying true to his heritage and incorporating powerful energy.
