Born X Raised x Indigenous Enterprise: A Collaboration Honoring Indigenous Peoples and Empowering Youth

Born X Raised and Indigenous Enterprise have joined forces to create a powerful collection that pays tribute to the legacy of Indigenous peoples and advocates for more representation in the fashion industry. The campaign, photographed by Atiba Jefferson, showcases a resilient and bold capsule of clothing, including graphic t-shirts, crewnecks, and accessories.

“This collaboration holds deep significance for me, as Born X Raised has played a pivotal role in the journey of Indigenous Enterprise and our story,” shared Kenneth Shirley, founder of Indigenous Enterprise. “I wanted to create this collection in celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, to honor our heritage and uplift our community. It was important to me that this collection makes us feel seen and recognized.”

The collection features the quote “We are the grandchildren of the ancestors they couldn’t kill” in BXR’s signature Old English font on the Ancestors’ Tee. This mantra symbolizes the strength and resilience of Indigenous culture and pays homage to those who fought to preserve it. The Fancy Dancer Tee showcases Indigenous artistry and is stamped with the phrase “Legacy of Warriors they could never silence.” Completing the release are the Rocker Hoodie and Legacy Crewneck, as well as a New Era 59Fifty “Rocker Fitted” Cap embroidered with “The ancestors they couldn’t kill.”

“I am grateful to Born X Raised for collaborating with us to raise awareness for Indigenous peoples and support Indigenous nonprofits, particularly those dedicated to empowering Indigenous youth,” said Shirley. “Through this partnership, we aim to continue honoring our ancestors and the cultural legacy they worked so hard to protect.”

The Born X Raised x Indigenous Enterprise collection will be available exclusively on the Born X Raised official webstore on Wednesday, October 16 at 12pm PST. This collaboration not only celebrates Indigenous culture but also supports Indigenous nonprofits that empower youth. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this meaningful and impactful collaboration.
