Peels Founder Jerome Peel Collaborates with 76 Gas Station Chain for Automotive-Inspired Collection
Jerome Peel, the multi-talented founder of Peels, is known for his workwear designs, skateboarding skills, and his involvement with the infamous Citi Bike Boyz. But one of his lesser-known passions is automotive culture, which is now being highlighted in a unique collaboration with 76, the popular gas station chain.
The collection perfectly captures the essence of Peels with its playful and rebellious workwear aesthetic, while also incorporating the clean and professional image of 76. The result is a fusion of two different worlds, featuring shop jackets and short-sleeve workwear shirts adorned with a mix of 76 gas pump logos, checkered flags, and the stylized Peels wordmark that could easily be seen on a NASCAR race car.
Jerome’s love for cars is evident not only in the collection, but also in the accompanying lookbook, which showcases his own silver Honda NSX and black Nissan R34 Skyline.
“I take great pride in the meaning and heart behind everything I do with Peels, from the storytelling to the factories I work with,” Jerome shared with Hypebeast Magazine #32. “It’s a slow-growing passion that I hope to continue for a lifetime.”
The Peels x 76 collection is now available on the Peels website, with work shirts priced at $92 USD and jackets at $108 USD. Don’t miss out on this unique collaboration that brings together two iconic brands in a fresh and exciting way.
