Casablanca Takes Paris Fashion Week by Storm with Auto-Inspired Spring 2025 Collection
Closing out the fourth day of Paris Fashion Week, Casablanca revved its engines for the French capital’s showgoers with a flashy auto-inspired show that flaunted its signature après-sport aesthetic for Spring 2025.
Designer Charaf Tajer, known for his love of Los Angeles and its diverse subcultures, showcased his latest collection that paid homage to the city’s vibrant car culture. In an interview with Hypebeast, Tajer explained, “The collection reflects Los Angeles and all of its many subcultures that have always fascinated me.”
But it wasn’t just about the cars on the runway, each one was a unique work of art, representing the Mexican-American Lowriders community that Tajer found parallels with in his own upbringing. Models like Lucky Blue Smith and Alton Mason swerved around the neon vehicles, showcasing Tajer’s latest tennis-inspired garments in eye-catching hues and textiles.
From glittering denim to kaleidoscopic shirting, and jersey-inspired tops to surfing gear, the collection was a vibrant mix of textures and colors that captured the essence of Casablanca’s bold and expressive style. It was a full-speed journey towards making a statement, and the audience was left in awe.
