TELFAR Launches First-Ever Real Leather Bag: “The Carry”
After making a name for itself with its iconic vegan leather totes, TELFAR has taken a bold step into the world of real leather with its latest release, “The Carry.” Made from soft, full-grain pebble leather, this bag maintains the brand’s signature silhouette while incorporating some new features.
The tote has been given a deeper design and the snaps are now covered in fine leather. The hand straps have also been lengthened, making it possible to carry “The Carry” on your shoulder. TELFAR has consciously kept the hardware to a minimum, giving the bag a sleek and minimalist look. The interior is left unlined, adding to the bag’s unique aesthetic.
According to TELFAR, “The Carry” is their answer to traditional luxury, blending both masculine and feminine design elements to defy categorization. It’s not just a men’s bag or a handbag, it’s a statement piece that transcends labels. And while it may be pricier than their vegan options, TELFAR assures customers that it is still more affordable than comparable bags on the market.
The small size of “The Carry” is priced at $400 USD, the medium at $600 USD, and the large at $960 USD. TELFAR proudly states, “While these prices are more than four times our traditional range, they are ten times lower than comparable bags – and we invite any comparison.”
Starting September 30, “The Carry” will be exclusively available at TELFAR’s new concept space, The Corner Shop at Selfridges. And that’s not all – TELFAR is also collaborating with Wilson’s to release a collection of leather apparel. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting partnership.
