French Footballer Jules Koundé Takes Center Stage in Jacquemus’ Latest “La Casa” Campaign

FC Barcelona’s Jules Koundé is making waves in the fashion world as the star of Jacquemus’ newest campaign, “La Casa.” The collection, which debuted at the end of spring in Capri at the iconic Villa Malaparte, draws inspiration from Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 French New Wave film, Contempt.

Known for his use of surrealism in storytelling, designer Simone Porte Jacquemus sets the stage with a paper French mansion as the backdrop for Koundé’s striking looks. From a sky-blue cardigan and hyper pink tie paired with zebra-striped loafers to monochromatic coastal knits and trouser shorts, Koundé effortlessly embodies the brand’s aesthetic.

Following in the footsteps of rugby player Yoann Maestri and singer Bad Bunny, Koundé is the latest muse for Jacquemus. In the campaign, he can be seen perched on top of a mountain of suitcases, dressed in an all-black ensemble, and even driving a mini car. His fashion-forward choices extend beyond the football pitch, as he rocks Jacquemus’ rectangular loafers and Le Grand Turismo handbag.

But this isn’t the first time Koundé has turned heads with his style. He made headlines when he sported a Simone Rocha skirt paired with a tank top and Timberlands, causing a frenzy in both the football and fashion worlds. Now, as the face of Jacquemus’ “La Casa” campaign, Koundé’s street style drip is reaching new heights. Check out the campaign above or below to see for yourself.
