Indian Designer HARRI Takes London Fashion Week by Storm with His Futuristic SS25 Collection
Harikrishnan Keezhathil Surendran Pillai, better known as HARRI, has once again captured the attention of the fashion world with his fifth collection at London Fashion Week. The Indian designer, who joined the prestigious British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN cohort, has been making waves since his debut and has now been renewed for a second season.
For his Spring/Summer 2025 collection, HARRI returned to London’s Old Selfridges Hotel and presented a show-stopping display of his signature latex material. This time, he incorporated an apocalyptic dance theme, showcasing 30 looks that evolved maturely from his previous collections.
The collection featured a color palette of black, white, and khaki, with subtle erotic undertones. Models strutted down the runway in slow-motion, opening the show with a striking ballooned jumpsuit that glistened under the spotlight. The designer also added sinister horns to some of his one-piece looks, creating a dramatic effect with swollen, pointed footwear.
HARRI’s attention to detail was evident in his use of rounded figures on zippered suits, previously worn by rapper Tommy Cash at Paris Fashion Week. Delicate latex dresses were adorned with whimsical hoops, while skintight suits of armor gave off a sophisticated edge.
The designer also surprised the audience with pointed skirts that grew at the center with ruffled edges, showcasing his ability to push boundaries in both menswear and womenswear. The show ended on a high note with several sheer green and burgundy latex looks that clung to the models’ bodies and flowed gracefully down the runway.
HARRI’s SS25 collection was a true spectacle, with duos and trios walking hand-in-hand in matching outfits, exuding a serious demeanor. The show was a testament to the designer’s creativity and innovation, leaving the audience in awe.
