Thom Browne Hosts Star-Studded Dinner to Debut Spring 2025 Collection at The Commerce Inn
Earlier this week, the fashion world was abuzz as Teyana Taylor, Martha Stewart, Justin Theroux, and Leon Bridges gathered at The Commerce Inn to dine with designer Thom Browne. Co-hosted by Cole Escola, star of the hit show Oh, Mary!, the event was a star-studded affair that not only celebrated fame but also served as the unofficial debut of Browne’s Spring 2025 line.
Browne’s Perfect Blend of Diners
The guest list for the dinner was a perfect blend of A-list celebrities, including Addison Rae, Alessandro Nivola, Alton Mason, Ella Emhoff, Eva Chen, Ian Bradley, Ib Kamara, Issa Rae, Jordan Roth, King Princess, Lola Tung, and Patti Lupone. Each guest arrived in unseen Browne attire, giving a sneak peek of the designer’s upcoming collection.
A Night of Fashion and Fine Dining
Before the meal, guests posed for collection portraits by photographer Joshua Woods, showcasing Browne’s signature style. The designer himself explained that he wanted to celebrate New York Fashion Week with his team, friends, and family, and couldn’t think of a better place or people to do it with.
A Quintessential New York Designer
Browne, known for his quintessential New York style, shared that this season’s collection was inspired by the idea of Americana, which may only exist in his mind. He also highlighted some of the standout pieces, including jacket-weight cashmere twins and madras plaid worn by Dania Gurira and Fred Hechinger, respectively.
St. Vincent’s Love Letter to New York
Under the venue’s candlelights, singer St. Vincent performed a trio of songs as a love letter to New York. As she sang, “New York isn’t New York without you, love,” it was clear that New York isn’t New York without Thom Browne either.
