Rain or Shine, Christian Cowan’s Stars Always Shine Bright
Christian Cowan’s latest ready-to-wear release was a star-studded event, with celebrities like Yung Miami, Justin Theroux, Aliyah’s Interlude, and Law Roach in attendance. The Blade East tarmac was transformed into a glamorous runway, where models strutted, sauntered, and even sprinted while showcasing Cowan’s new collection.
In a statement, Cowan sets the scene for his cinematic presentation, saying, “Spluttering interrupts Wagner’s ‘Tristan und Isolde: Overture’, everyone turns abruptly, only to see Clarice falling to her side, clutching her Verdura Stardust necklace with one hand, the other leaning against the golden De Gournay wallpaper.”
The collection itself was a striking array of silver, black, and cobalt blue pieces, featuring Cowan’s signature star motifs, floral detailing, ostrich plumes, and hero silhouettes. The range also included both menswear and womenswear, with the label’s elevated, sharp, layered tailoring defining much of the collection.
Backed by a soundtrack of Charli XCX and Ethel Cain, Cowan’s Spring/Summer 2025 truly was a movie, complete with props like Poppi beverages and SHED RAIN umbrellas, and the iconic Manhattan skyline as the backdrop.
