Japanese Designer Yuki Yagi Unveils Fall/Winter 2024 Collection Inspired by His Personal Library
Japanese designer Yuki Yagi has been hard at work in his newly opened showroom and research library in downtown NYC, sifting through his extensive collection of printed materials. With over 2,000 books and magazines at his disposal, Yagi found inspiration for his brand vowels’ latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection, set to release next week.
From Streetwear to Pop: Yagi’s Evolution of Design
Yagi’s debut capsule collection for vowels set the tone for the brand’s “true streetwear” aesthetic. But with this new collection, Yagi tells Hypebeast that he wanted to infuse more vibrancy and pop into his designs.

The Fall/Winter 2024 collection features a range of pieces that seamlessly blend fashion and function. One standout piece is a bonded wool three-layer shell coat, inspired by the uniforms of Tokyo’s salarymen.
