ASICS Takes Over Hypebeast’s 41 Division for New York’s Biggest Tennis Week

ASICS, the renowned athletic brand, brought together a fusion of culture and style at Hypebeast’s 41 Division in honor of New York’s biggest week in tennis. The event showcased ASICS’ 17-piece collection and transformed the space into a haven for tennis enthusiasts, aptly named ASICS and ACES.

The venue was adorned with silhouettes from the ASICS Tennis New York Collection, with the theme of the night being “Sound Mind, Sound Body.” This theme reflects the company’s belief that movement is essential for building both physical and mental well-being.

The event was a hit, with guests enjoying custom cocktails like “The ASICS Ace” and indulging in tennis court and racket-shaped sugar cookies. Attendees also had the opportunity to have their caricatures drawn by talented artists, adding to the immersive fan experience. DJ Kazi provided the beats for the night, making it a truly unforgettable event.

But the real highlight of the night was when ASICS surprised everyone by bringing out some of the biggest names in the sport. Olympic gold medalist Novak Djokovic made an appearance for a Q&A session, where he shared his post-Olympics journey and his thoughts on the perfect tennis shoe. He even revealed his personal favorite, the Court FF 3 Novak silhouette.

“It’s crucial to feel comfortable in your shoes. The Court FF 3 Novak provides the speed, agility, and support that every tennis player needs,” Djokovic said, praising ASICS’ unique GEL™ technology for its cushioning and stability.

Aside from the shoes, the ASICS MATCH ACTIBREEZE™ Tops were also a standout at the event. College tennis player Kemal Karagozoglu was spotted wearing the Men’s MATCH ACTIBREEZE SHORT SLEEVE TOP in Mako Blue from the collection. The range, which includes polo shirts, sleeveless tanks, and short sleeves, features moisture-wicking mesh for a dry and comfortable feel, allowing athletes to perform at their best on and off the court.

The event was also graced by other ASICS athletes, including newly signed Taylor Fritz, Caroline Dolehide, Eva Lys, Jasmine Paolini, Borna Coric, Ons Jabeur, Corentin Moutet, and Harriet Dart. Fans had the chance to meet and take photos with their favorite players, and some even went home with signed tennis balls.
