But what sets them apart is their dedication to collaboration, constantly teaming up with other brands to create striking collections. Their latest partnership is with Toronto-based menswear outfitter Lost & Found, resulting in a poised and practical three-piece capsule.
A Connection Built on Cotton Ripstop
The two labels first crossed paths in 2014 when the Lost & Found team visited BEAMS PLUS’ main office in Japan. This meeting sparked a connection built on their shared love for cotton ripstop fabric. Lost & Found expressed their excitement for the collaboration, stating, “For the past two years we have been discussing a special project with BEAMS and it has finally come to fruition. There are so many synergies between the two brands that the idea generation was seamless. Our favorite pant, the two pleat, ultimately turned into an entire outfit using some of our favorite fabric in the cotton ripstop.”
A Capsule Collection in Shades of Black, Navy, and Olive Green
The BEAMS PLUS x Lost & Found capsule collection features three pieces, all crafted from cotton ripstop fabric. The 2Pleats Cotton Ripstop pants, MIL SHT-JAC Cotton Ripstop, and MIL Jungle Hat Cotton Ripstop come in shades of black, navy, and olive green. The jacket boasts an open collar, side seam and interior pockets, and military buttons down the middle. The pants have a cropped fit with front and back pockets, cuffed hems, and a contrast herringbone twill waistband. Completing the range is the hat, equipped with utility slots around the crown, a button flap-gusseted pocket, and a contrast herringbone twill sweatband.
