KICKS LAB. and PUMA Team Up for a Unique Take on the Palermo Sneaker
KICKS LAB. and PUMA have joined forces to release a one-of-a-kind version of the iconic Palermo sneaker. This collaboration is part of PUMA’s renowned “Made in Japan (MIJ)” series, known for its top-notch materials and the meticulous work of Japanese craftsmen.
The new design introduces a fresh concept that celebrates the beauty of aging, or “aji.” With each crease and scuff, the shoe develops its own character, making it a pair that evolves with its wearer over time. The upper is a combination of black leather and nubuck, creating a sleek and refined appearance with subtle textural contrast. Vibrant pops of color add to the overall design, including a signature PUMA formstrip in glossy orange enamel, light blue stitching and lace tips, and a lime-yellow liner. The insole features a black and white color scheme, paying homage to KICKS LAB.’s signature store colors and adding the finishing touch to this carefully crafted piece.
