Gucci, Saint Laurent, and the Rest of Kering’s Fashion Houses Struggle, But Bottega Veneta Shines Bright
While other luxury brands under Kering’s umbrella saw a decline in sales during the third quarter, Bottega Veneta emerged as a beacon of hope. Led by Matthieu Blazy, the Italian label saw a 5% increase in revenue, thanks to its genuine creativity, classy leather goods, and famous collaborations.
And now, Bottega Veneta has unveiled its Resort 2025 collection, a bold and eclectic mix of Blazy’s signature styles. Drawing inspiration from books on elegance and the pleasure of cooking, the collection features cross-stitched leather tops and bags, animal prints, plaid collared shirts, and a variety of accessories.
Blazy’s palette is both spicy and sophisticated, with snakeskin overcoats, sequin gowns, and gold skirts alongside traditional blazers, pleated trousers, and knitwear. As Blazy puts it, “I just took everything I like.” And with such a diverse and delicious collection, it’s no wonder Bottega Veneta is thriving.
Perhaps a Bottega Veneta cookbook is in the works, too? In the meantime, take a look at the Resort 2025 collection in the gallery above.
