Kids of Immigrants, the Los Angeles-based brand known for their captivating storytelling, has teamed up with Nike to bring us the Air Max Sunder in two stunning colorways. These kicks, dubbed “Persian Violet” and “Sundial,” are a nod to the vaporwave aesthetic that has taken the fashion world by storm.

The Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder is set to release on November 21. You can snag a pair for yourself on Nike SNKRS or at select retailers for a retail price of $190 USD.
A Revamped Silhouette
The Air Max Sunder features a revamped upper with gridlines spread across it. The toe portion of the mudguard remains, but without the typical geometric design. The signature zipper that hides the lacing system is also present.
Persian Violet and Sundial Colorways
The “Persian Violet” colorway boasts a bright purple collar that fades into a darker hue towards the midsole. The “Sundial” colorway follows a similar approach, but with an orange collar. Both pairs feature a brown mudguard, black heel and sole unit, and a blue finish with black specks at the midfoot.

These kicks are not just stylish, they also feature special details that make them stand out. The left and right shoes’ outsoles are adorned with “KIDS OF IMMIGRANTS” text, the co-branded sockliners have a “JUST DO IT. TOGETHER.” callout, and the special box features branding from the duo.
