Children of the Discordance Launches New Sub-Label, Second Edition, Exclusively at B’2nd
Since its inception, designer Hideaki Shikama has been infusing his love for vintage and archival fashion into the collections of Children of the Discordance. Now, the brand is taking it a step further with the launch of its own sub-label, Second Edition, which will be exclusively available at Japanese retailer B’2nd.
First Look: Children of the Discordance’s Second Edition Collection
The first images of the new Second Edition collection have been unveiled, showcasing a pared-back collection of versatile essentials. The color palette is dominated by muted shades of grey, brown, and navy, creating a solid range of outerwear options.
Outerwear with a Twist
The outerwear pieces in the collection are anything but basic. A long parka with an extra-wide collar, a mock-neck fleece jacket with vaulted paneling, and a bomber jacket with open vents at the chest are just a few of the standout pieces. But the real showstopper is a sleeveless puffer vest with a roomy hood, paired with washed-out carpenter pants for a unique and edgy look.
Expressive Shirting
While the outerwear steals the spotlight, the shirting in this collection is not to be overlooked. A traditional plaid flannel with a camp collar is joined by a tan-hued button-up featuring a technicolor tribal design that dissolves into disparate shapes. The result is a bold and expressive take on classic button-ups.
Available Now at B’2nd
The first collection of Children of the Discordance’s Second Edition line will be available exclusively at B’2nd’s online store on November 2. Don’t miss your chance to get your hands on these unique and stylish pieces.
