Our Legacy WORK SHOP Unveils “COTTON CROCHET” Collection with Main Nué Upcycling Collaboration

Swedish design and repair studio Main Nué has joined forces with Our Legacy WORK SHOP to create a stunning new collection that combines upcycling techniques with sleek Swedish design. The “COTTON CROCHET” collection features a mix of casual and formal attire, all adorned with delicate beige crochet trims and unique embellishments.

Inspired by the formal attire of Tokyo’s taxi drivers, the collection also incorporates Main Nué’s handcrafted sensibilities. A black long-sleeve button-up shirt features open shoulders and a circular crochet trim, with white stitching accents and eyelets for added detail. A similar blazer takes the crocheted vents to the bottom half of the garment, with bold white stitching on the breast pocket.

But the collection doesn’t stop at clothing. Asymmetrical black jeans showcase crochet-trimmed openings on the knees, while another pair features matching vents on the outer sides. Close-up shots reveal unique denim washes with pinstriped patches and exposed blotches of indigo dye. And for a truly one-of-a-kind touch, each piece is adorned with colored beads, chips of wood, and seashells hanging from thick beige yarns.

The “COTTON CROCHET” collection also includes a range of wooden furniture pieces draped with white lace, mirroring the hard-soft juxtaposition found in the apparel range. This limited-edition collection is now available exclusively at Dover Street Market Ginza in Tokyo.
